THE NORTH STABLE

The North Stable is a 1920s historic stable that has been recently renovated through Virginia’s Historic Rehabilitation Tax Credit program. The space is a two story building with a bar area, farmhouse style wood tables & chairs, and upstairs ‘Hayloft’ lounge area. The building is bordered by two outdoor terraces, including an outdoor fireplace.

The cider bar

The Cider Bar is the first-floor main event space of the North Stable. It features the original restored whitewashed walls and stable doors, concrete flooring with radiant heat, a prep kitchen for catering, built-in bar and shelving, and single-stall restroom. The space includes farmhouse-style wood tables, antique chairs, and opens to the outdoor terraces. It is perfect for both casual and formal dinners or events, and seats up to 50 people.

the hayloft

The “Hayloft” is the second story of the North Stable and features soft seating areas along with a built-in banquette and additional tables. The ceilings and floor are covered with restored wood from a 100-year-old church that previously stood on the farm. The hayloft can be rented by itself for private events, yoga workshops, or included in wedding packages as a ceremony location (for micro weddings), additional event space, or grooms/groomsmen area.
